Billing & Refund Policy

This policy describes how OwnWorks bills companies for paid plans and how cancellations and refunds are handled. Contractors use OwnWorks free of charge.

1. Subscription Billing

  • Paid company plans (Growth, Pro) are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor (Stripe).
  • Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period until cancelled.
  • Prices, plan limits, and posting allowances are listed on our Pricing page and may change with notice.
  • Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

2. 14-Day Free Trial

  • New companies get a 14 day free trial of paid features.
  • No card is required to start the trial.
  • When the trial ends, your account moves to a free read-only state unless you select a paid plan or use Pay-As-You-Go.
  • Active opportunities posted during the trial remain accessible but may stop receiving new Express Interest until a plan is selected.

3. Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG)

  • PAYG lets companies pay per opportunity post without a subscription.
  • PAYG credits are non-transferable and non-refundable once a credit is consumed by posting an opportunity.
  • Unused PAYG credits do not expire.

4. Refunds

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable for partial billing periods.
  • If you believe you were billed in error or experienced a Platform outage that materially prevented use, email support@pfxlogix.com within 14 days of the charge with details. We review each request individually and may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion.
  • PAYG credits already used to publish an opportunity are not refundable.

5. Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then.
  • Cancelling does not delete your account. To delete, use the deletion request flow in Account Settings.

6. Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails, we will retry and notify you by email. If the payment remains unpaid, your paid features will be paused until the balance is settled.

7. Disputes

Please contact support@pfxlogix.com before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly.
