Terms of Service

Welcome to OwnWorks, a product of PFX Logistics ("OwnWorks", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the OwnWorks platform at JoinOwnWorks.com (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. What OwnWorks Is

OwnWorks is an online marketplace platform only. We connect independent logistics contractors with companies posting delivery, courier, freight, and route opportunities. We are not a staffing agency, employer, broker of record, or party to any agreement formed between contractors and companies.

2. No Employment Relationship

• OwnWorks does not employ contractors who use the Platform.
• Contractors are independent businesses or operators responsible for their own operations, tax filings, insurance, and compliance.
• Companies posting opportunities are independently responsible for their hiring decisions, onboarding, and contractor management.

3. No Guarantees

OwnWorks does not guarantee:

• That contractors will be awarded any contract, route, or load.
• Any specific level of earnings, pay rate, or volume.
• That companies will approve any contractor through onboarding.
• That any opportunity posted is current, accurate, or still available.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of all information you post (profile, opportunity, company, or rating data).
• Negotiating, signing, and honoring any agreement reached with the other party.
• Verifying insurance, licensing, DOT/MC numbers, equipment, and regulatory compliance independently.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

5. Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to do business in your jurisdiction. Companies must be a legitimate operating business.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: post false or misleading content, scrape the Platform, harass other users, evade fees, or use OwnWorks for any unlawful purpose.

7. Fees

Contractors use OwnWorks free. Companies may use a free trial, a paid subscription, or Pay-As-You-Go posting. See our Billing & Refund Policy.

8. Termination

You may deactivate or request deletion of your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OwnWorks disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

10. Limitation of Liability

OwnWorks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, any contract formed through it, or any dispute between contractors and companies.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
